BioI grew up wanting to be a veteranarian, then a doctor. Went to college, decided that I really wanted to be a research scientist, did my undergrad work in the Galapagos (amazing), fell in love with birds. Applied to medical schools anyway, self-sabotaged, got rejected. Spent a few years bartending and finding myself. Decided to get serious about my future and took a job as a research assistant working with raptors in Denmark for 6 months. Jeg elsker danmark. When I returned, I was broke so I got a job selling insurance. I hated it. Recently I have started graduate school pursuing my PhD in Biology, studying purple martins and invasive competitors. I got married in June of 08 and we're living a happy, generally drama free life in STL.
